We Were Built for Belonging
It’s not an accident that we find ourselves wanting to belong and be known; God designed us that way. He created us for relationships. Being known – truly known – by others can also be a terrifying thought. For followers of Jesus, experiencing and contributing to a community isn’t something we opt into; it is something we are called to.
We actively and intentionally pursue community with each other because we believe belonging takes priority in the life of a disciple – over our skepticism, over our previous bad experiences, over our calendars and schedules, and yes, even over our fears of rejection.
Community at The Chapel in Wadsworth happens through community groups and bible studies. Though each group looks a little different, our hope in meeting together is always that we grow in friendship, prayer, accountability, care, and elevating each other in love.

Community Groups
Small groups are the method by which we as a church pursue a life centered around growing in these four areas: believing in Jesus, belonging to His family, becoming His disciple, and building His kingdom. Our groups are full of imperfect people, and we aim to grow together in how we might serve and love each other. That’s the model of what Christ has already perfectly done for us.

Young Adults
Our Young Adult Ministry mirrors the community mindset of our groups with a focus on post-college to age 30 individuals.
We follow the pattern of the early church in Acts 2, seeking to nourish one another by devoting our time to teaching, fellowship, food, and prayer. Our groups are made up of imperfect people, and we welcome this as an opportunity to shower each other in grace and build each other up in love – that is the gift Christ has given us.

Women’s Bible Studies
Our bible studies for women all celebrate a passion for bringing gospel community to women through women. Whether it be through the study itself, group conversation, serving together, or something else our pursuit is to grow together in our faith. We desire to share the love of Jesus through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
We celebrate the opportunity that doing life together in small studies gives us to be encouraged and encourage each other. None of us are perfect, and sometimes our groups are messy. We embrace the mess because we believe that the best relationships and transformation happens when we are willing to not only share our wins but also share our losses with each other.

Men’s Bible Studies
Following Jesus and becoming more like Him is a lifelong journey. Our Men’s Bible Studies are an invitation to men of all ages seeking to grow their relationship with God and others. We seek to partner with each other in active discipleship by meeting, studying, learning, praying, and fellowship. Our mission is to grow in these four areas: believing in Jesus, belonging to His family, becoming His disciple, and building His kingdom. All for the glory of God.
